I lost signal halfway through the upload, so it has taken 30 minutes in total. That does include going to the shop as well. Still not bad.

Another Site

More importantly, why build yet another website? Firstly, I like it, I am never satisfied and I do not intend this to be seen by anyone else other than me. I need to have a site that I can add to while I am on my adventures. Other people reading or listening to me is not my motivation. This site has been designed with the mobile phone in mind and I think after a couple of years, I have cracked it. I originally designed a desktop site that didn’t translate to the phone well at all. I asked chatgpt for a basic html code and it gave me some inspiration for the layout.

The code and design, and most of the other layout is mine. I just learnt from AI about section tags, which was the game changer. Now I have the pi, the server, ftp and ssh all in on this and it works far better than I could have imagined. The audio recording I made at the top of the page, shows how a small issue when there isn’t any network coverage. It takes 5 minutes to upload and write a description but 30 minutes, when you have to move around to find coverage.
